We want to install a new play area inChadwell St Mary, and need your help and support. Please complete our survey below to have your say.
In the past Chadwell Community Forum, working with Thurrock Council, were awarded funding to install a new play area on the Heath. Attempts to install the play equipment were unsuccessful due to the equipment being vandalised and destroyed.
We have previously asked the community about the sort of play equipment and design they would like for the park. The final designwas shared and displayed in the library. The design has been updated slightly since.
The Project
We want to:
Install the new play area alongside the car park beside the Pyramid Resource Centre (Heath Road, Chadwell St Mary)
Consider the use of CCTV or other measures to improve safety and discourage vandalism.
Consider enclosing the play area by placing a fence around it.
