What we're proposing

We're proposing to cut the grass in parks and open spaces less often, changing from every 3 weeks to every 5 weeks or 6 weeks.

We also want to host more events such as music festivals and funfairs in these areas.

    The Council is currently engaging on all budget proposals, please go to consult.thurrock.gov.uk/budget-survey-2425 where you will find our budget survey. If it is Parks and Open Spaces specifically that you would like to comment on, the final question (Question 12) enables you to provide your comments on these proposals. This survey closes on 7 January 2024, responses will be analysed and a final decision will be taken at a meeting of Council on 6 March 2024.
