Expression of interest - Join the Board

Tilbury has been chosen to receive £20 million through the Pride in Place Fund - money to be spent on improving Tilbury over the next 10 years. A local Neighbourhood Board will decide how that money is used.

We are looking for local people to join that Board. You do not need any formal experience or qualifications. You just need to care about Tilbury and be able to give some time.

Time commitment
Around 1 day per month (more at the start)
PayUnpaid voluntary role - reasonable expenses covered, including travel and childcare
Term2 years initially
Who can applyAnyone who lives or works in Tilbury - no experience needed


How to submit your application?

You can either:

  1. Complete the below application form - you can either answer the questions in writing or submit a video of you answering the questions.
  2. Pick up and return a paper copy of the application form from Tilbury Library and Community Hub.
  3. Email a completed application form to pipboard@tilburytown.co.uk
