Your feedback has helped shape Thurrock’s future transport strategy

We’d like to thank everyone who shared their views, comments, and suggestions. During the consultation we received 118 responses through our Have My Say platform, alongside more than 30 written submissions from key stakeholders, including transport organisations, neighbouring local authorities, and other partners.

We have now carefully reviewed all the feedback received. Your comments have helped shape the final version of the Transport Strategy, ensuring it better reflects the issues, opportunities and priorities raised during the consultation.

• how comments from residents and stakeholders have been considered in developing the final Transport Strategy.

The final Thurrock Transport Strategy 2026–2040 will be presented to Cabinet and Full Council for consideration in September 2026. Once the strategy has been formally adopted, we’ll publish a further update on the outcome and next steps.
