Consultation has concluded
Safeguarding means protecting an adult’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. It is about people and organisations working together to prevent and stop both the risks and experience of abuse or neglect, while at the same time making sure that the adult’s wellbeing is promoted including, where appropriate, having regard to their views, wishes, feelings and beliefs in deciding on any action.
The Thurrock Safeguarding Adults Board (TSAB) are a group of agencies working together to make sure that adult safeguarding works well in Thurrock.
We do this by:
Making sure that safeguarding arrangements work well and that practice is person centred
Work with partners to prevent abuse and neglect
Make sure agencies respond appropriately when abuse or neglect does happen
Making sure that safeguarding practice improves and delivers positive outcomes for adults at risk
We would like to hear your views to help us to decide what our priorities should be for the next 3 years.
If you would like this consultation in a different format please contact us on TSAB@thurrock.gov.uk or 01375 659713.
The Board intends to publish its strategic plan in April 2023.
The consultation will close on 5 February 2023.
