Consultation has concluded
Whats this Consultation about
We are considering increasing charges for some of our adult social care services. Before we make changes, we would like you to have your say.
Why we want to hear your views
The needs of people in the community are growing. We want to make sure the services we provide are good value for money, so review our charges regularly.
We work out how much each person can pay towards their care and services. We do this by giving them a financial assessment. This helps us make sure people only pay people what they can afford.
We also want to make sure that nobody is put off coming to us for help because they worry about being asked to pay more towards their care.
Charges we are reviewing
Some charges for services are set nationally. Some services are free of charge. Other charges are set by us - these are the charges we are reviewing now.
We are reviewing our current charges for:
domiciliary care - this is care for people in their own homes
