Brighter Futures

The Brighter Futures Partnership is the highest level partnership group for children’s services. It is a partnership responsible for planning and delivering health and care to the children, young people and Families of Thurrock.

A refresh of the Brighter Futures Strategy began in October 2020, engagement has already begun with select groups of people. The next stage of this engagement is to seek your views on:

  • The draft ambitions that we will set in order to meet our strategic priorities
  • Some of the services that form part of Brighter Futures

The draft ambitions

The information we receive through this consultation will contribute to the development of these ambitions and how services will look going forward in 2022 and beyond. The draft ambitions are:

  1. All children are able to achieve their potential – focusing on education and skills
  2. Children are able to access the services they need to stay healthy, focusing on prevention and early intervention.
  3. All children can live safely in their communities, with a focus on Youth Justice
  4. Children and their families experience good emotional health and wellbeing

The Services

  1. The Healthy Families Service, delivered by NELFT (North East London NHS Foundation Trust)
  2. Brighter Futures Parenting Programmes, delivered by Coram
  3. Brighter Futures Domestic Abuse Support Service, delivered by Changing Pathways
