Community Ideas

Please share your ideas for physical improvements to restore civic pride in local places and spaces. The more developed and deliverable your idea, the more likely it is to be allocated funding. We will review submissions and, where appropriate, help applicants develop their idea, identify partners, explore permissions and seek funding opportunities. The scheme aims to support projects that provide investment to restore civic pride in local areas, strengthen community cohesion, and stimulate local economic activity through visible, community-led improvements. 

Please note that submitting a Community Idea does not guarantee funding or project delivery. However, it will help us understand local priorities and identify opportunities to support community-led improvements across Thurrock. Where appropriate, we may provide advice, connect applicants with relevant partners and stakeholders, and help develop proposals for future funding opportunities.

Please include as much of the following information in your idea:

- project title

- location

- a short description of your idea, and why it's needed?

- who will your idea benefit and what difference will it make?

- please provide a best estimate of the cost of the project

- do you need support to help deliver your idea?
