Local authorities are required to undertake a Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places. The next review must take place between 1 October 2023 and be complete by 31 January 2025. This review is timetabled to complete by mid February 2024. The public consultation will close 12 November 2023.

To assist with the review we are looking for feedback on any aspect of the polling districts and places currently used and we invite representation and comments from interested persons. We have identified some options for change and invite you to comment on the suitability of the proposed change and how it may affect you.

Local political parties, MPs and councillors will be consulted and views are invited from electors within the Parliamentary constituencies of

a) Thurrock

b) South Basildon and East Thurrock

We welcome feedback from persons, groups or communities who may have particular expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for persons with any disability. We also welcome comments by email electoral.services@thurrock.gov.uk
