Your Place, Your Voice

Where you live, where you work and the places you want to visit have a big impact on the way you live your life and your health. Thurrock as a place is changing, and we want to make sure that places in the borough are able to grow, change, and adapt in the right way at the right time.

The emerging Local Plan will be a key tool in influencing this change, but it's not the only one - there are lots of different plans and projects being developed by the Council that will have an impact on different places in the borough.

We want to put people at the heart of placemaking and make sure that all plans and projects being developed are informed by the views of people who know our places best - local residents and businesses.
