Consultation on Charging for Assistive Technology Monitoring Services 2023

Assistive Technology is simply technology that supports people in their everyday lives that can include fall alarms, door sensors, epilepsy sensors etc. that are issued by Thurrock Council to individuals that are eligible for this service.

The majority of these devices are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to ensure people remain safe and well in their home. Should these devices be triggered this monitoring service will flag or issue assistance to the individual.
