Thurrock Council are keen to learn more about how bus services within the borough are used and perceived. We have a requirement to present to the Department for Transport a new Bus Service Improvement Plan by the end of October 2021. This BSIP document will set out where the council considers its priorities to be to enhance bus services and supporting infrastructure within Thurrock to make riding the bus both easier, and more attractive. The BSIP will then be used by the Council to bid for funding from the Government.

Therefore Thurrock Council are seeking to get the views of all residents, visitors and workers within the borough to get an understanding of how buses can become a better used by everyone in the future. We are keen to hear the views of both users and non-users alike to understand what is good about buses in Thurrock, and what could be improved. This can include your views about improvements to the buses themselves, the route which they run along, how often they run, fares, and even the bus stop itself.

If you don’t use the bus regularly, your views are also welcome, as we want to know what barriers can we reduce to help you consider using the bus more often.
