We are keen to regularly review and enhance bus services within the borough. To enable us to do this, we are seeking input from bus users and residents to help make us aware where improvements could be made to the bus network.
In summer 2021, we engaged with bus users and residents to learn more about how they viewed bus services in Thurrock, and how these could be approved. This feedback was used to develop our Bus Service Improvement Plan, published in October 2021. This document sets out the council’s identified improvements with supporting costs, to enable us to bid to Government to help implement these. This document however should remain live, and be updated regularly.
Therefore we are asking for all residents and bus users to use the map below and mark where we need to improve our bus network. This can include adding or improving existing bus stops, to showing where you may need a bus to go, or to run more frequently.
