People who live in Chadwell St Mary tend to travel towards Little Thurrock, Grays town centre and Tilbury, often to commute to work. Existing links connect these areas including across the major road A1089 Dock Approach Road, but links are often disconnected.

We are proposing to:

  • Improve junctions and crossing on existing links across the area.
  • A protected cycle facility for Herringham Primary Academy.
  • Accessibility improvements around Cross Keys.
  • A new link towards East Tilbury.
