Consultation has concluded

People who live in East Tilbury and Linford tend to travel towards Grays Town Centre, Tilbury, Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham, often to commute to work. However, there is no cycle infrastructure between these communities to allow residents to do these trips by active travel, like cycling or walking.

We are proposing to integrate East Tilbury and Linford with the wider network with:

  • A new link towards Chadwell St Mary along Muckingford Road.
  • A new link towards the A1013 Stanford Road along Buckingham Hill Road.
  • A new link towards Stanford-le-Hope along the rail line.
  • Accessibility improvements on the surroundings of the shops of Stanford House.
