Consultation has concluded

People who live in North Grays tend to travel towards Lakeside, Grays town centre and Tilbury. There are existing links in the area, but they are often disconnected in particular around major junctions.

We are proposing to:

  • Improve the link along Lodge Lane to allow further east-west movements across the borough.
  • Improve crossings along the east-west link on Lodge Lane (including on Treacle Mine roundabout and Stifford Interchange).
  • Create a calmer and safer environment for active travel to school with measures on Blackshots Lane and Connaught Avenue.
  • Accessibility improvements around Crammavill Street.
