Consultation has concluded

People travel to the Lakeside basin, West Thurrock and Chafford Hundred area from all neighbour areas including Aveley, South Ockendon, Grays and North Grays but also further from Tilbury, Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham. The area has plenty of shared paths, but they are often disconnected.

We are proposing to:

  • Improve crossing on existing links (including Pilgrims roundabout).
  • Improvements on the north-south link between A126 London Road and the A1306 Arterial Road.
  • A school street on Mill Lane.
  • Create a new link between Lakeside and Chafford Hundred.
